Triangle GreenPrint Survey

The project sponsors are seeking input on how to prioritize different places in the regional green space system. Please complete the following survey to let us know what you think.
1) If you could distribute 100 points among the following open space types, with more points giving greater weight to an issue, how would you do it?
Parks:
points Lands that provide opportunities for outdoor recreation and education such as hiking, fishing, and boating.
Greenways:   points Corridors of green space that link open lands and buffer sensitive areas such as streams. They often include trails.
Historic Areas:   points Historic landscapes that preserve the region's cultural heritage and rural character.
Natural Areas:   points Natural habitat for native plants and animals that cannot live in urban and suburban environments.
Water Quality Areas:   points Wetlands, stream buffers, and other lands that retain flood waters, filter pollutants, and recharge groundwater.
Farm Land:   points Agricultural lands that produce food and fiber, contribute to the rural economy, and support a rural way of life.
Forest Land:   points Forest lands managed to produce timber and other forest products.
Total:  points(must equal 100)

2) Distribute 100 points among the following factors, giving more points to the factors you feel are more important in assessing the significance of areas within the regional green space network.
Rare or unique site:   pointsIs one of the few examples of its kind in the region (such as a rare natural habitat or unique recreational resource.
Promotes connectivity:   points Links key parts of the regional open space system, such as two parks or natural areas.
Achieves multiple objectives:   points Supports multiple open space functions at once (such as recreation and natural habitat protection).
Located in underserved area:   points Provides open space in an area that is currently underserved.

3) Distribute 100 points among the following factors, giving more points to the factors you feel are more important in assessing the significance of farm and forest land within the region.
More stable:   points Area that is more likely to still be in agriculture in a decade as the region grows.
More threatened:   points Area that is less likely to be in agriculture in a decade as the region grows.
Current use:   points Land that is currently being farmed.
Resource base:   points Land that has prime agricultural soil and other natural assets.

4) Are there other places not shown in the maps in the Regional Open Space Assessment report (download here) that are regionally significant and ought to be identified as part of the regional green space system? If so, please list them below, along with approximate location.
